NEW! 128 US Citizenship Questions

This is the 2020 version of the US Citizenship test that contains 128 questions. You should study these questions if you have filed your Naturalization Application on or after Dec 1, 2020. If you have filed your Naturalization Application before Dec 1, 2020, you should study the 2008 version of the test that contains 100 questions. Click here to study the 100 questions.

There are 128 civics questions on the naturalization test. During the naturalization interview, applicants will be asked up to 20 questions from the list of 128 questions in English. You must answer correctly 12 of the 20 questions to pass the civics test in English.

On the naturalization test, some answers may change because of elections or appointments. For the answers to these specific questions, please visit the official USCIS Civics Test Updates page.

Citizenship Practice Test
